About Us
Alderac Entertainment Group (AEG)
AEG was formed almost thirty years ago to publish Shadis magazine. In the mid-1990s AEG co-created Legend of the Five Rings.
AEG has focused on board, card and dice games. We’ve created huge hits like Smash Up and Love Letter, and recent innovative games like Mystic Vale, Thunderstone, Space Base, Cat Lady, Tiny Towns, Cubitos, and many others!
We are successful at crowdfunding, including huge campaigns for Thunderstone Quest, Edge of Darkness, Dead Reckoning, Valley of the Kings Premium, Meeples & Monsters, Rolling Heights, and Shake that City.
We are especially proud of our relationship with Flatout Games, who created Point Salad, TEN, Calico, Cascadia, Verdant and several other titles which AEG publishes or co-publishes with Flatout.
AEG’s International Business Division works with partners around the world to create localized versions of our games, and with other publishers to deliver localized versions of their games too.
AEG is based in the United States and has a virtual workforce distributed all over the world. AEG staff work from Greece, Canada, the United Kingdom, and several US States.
Our company is firmly committed to supporting a diverse workplace and a diverse community of gamers. We believe Black Lives Matter. We celebrate people of all genders and identities, all races, cultures and creeds.
